About the course
Today's commercial liability claims extend far beyond the Commercial General Liability policy. Organizations also face exposures arising from professional advice, boardroom decisions, and catastrophic losses that exceed primary liability limits. This course examines Professional Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, and Umbrella Liability, providing brokers with a practical framework for identifying coverage gaps and building a comprehensive liability program for commercial clients. The course also explores claims-made coverage, retroactive dates, tail coverage, indemnification, retained limits, drop-down coverage, underlying insurance requirements, and the exclusions that commonly require specialized policies.
