About the course

Aviation insurance combines specialized property, liability, and transit exposures that require careful underwriting and precise policy design. This course examines Aviation Hull coverage, Aviation Liability, and Transportation Floaters, giving brokers a practical understanding of how aircraft, legal liabilities, and goods in transit are protected. You'll learn how agreed value applies to aircraft, the importance of pilot warranties, approved use, operating territories, passenger and third-party liability, combined and split limits, and international liability considerations. The course also explores inland transportation coverage, carrier liability, valuation, policy limits, and the documentation needed to ensure goods remain protected while in transit. By the end of this course, you'll be better equipped to identify aviation and transportation exposures, recommend appropriate coverage, and help clients avoid costly gaps before a loss occurs.
