About the course
**Completed Operations Exposure** covers how contractor liability persists after work is finished, sometimes for years. Key areas include the CGL "your work" definition, completion triggers (contract completion vs. intended use, excluding abandoned work), the damage-to-your-work exclusion, and tracking occurrence timing, aggregate limits, and continuous coverage. **Wrap Up Liability** covers project-based programs placing all enrolled parties under one policy (OCIP or CCIP), applying only to the defined project site while off-site work falls back to individual CGLs. Brokers must manage enrollment discipline, scope boundaries, and coordination with each contractor's own coverage. **Umbrella** liability sits above primary policies, responding through exhaustion (paying excess damages) or drop-down (acting as primary, subject to a retained limit). Key focus areas are maintaining required underlying insurance and reviewing common exclusions like professional liability, pollution, and D&O.
