About the course
This course provides brokers with a practical review of property coverage and liability fundamentals across personal and commercial insurance. Participants examine commercial property classifications, including buildings, stock, equipment, property of others, and tenant improvements. The course explores Homeowners Comprehensive coverage, focusing on all-risk protection, exclusions, vacancy, water damage, freezing, and earthquake exposures. The course concludes with liability fundamentals, including negligence, duty of care, causation, foreseeability, occupiers’ liability, vicarious liability, and defence obligations.
